DECORATIVE SHIELD (CAMEROON) 30D BEADED

Beadwork has long been used across African decorative arts to mark status and add colour to carved wooden forms, and this 30cm round Decorative Shield from Cameroon carries that tradition into a compact wall accent. Its beaded finish sets it apart from a plain carved surface, giving the piece a layered, tactile texture that catches the eye from across a room.

Handcrafted at 30cm diameter, this decor shield is sized to slot easily into a gallery wall alongside other African curio pieces, rather than dominate a space on its own. Group two or three round shields of different finishes together for a striking symmetrical display, or hang it solo above a side table.

This beaded shield pairs beautifully with a Namji doll on a nearby shelf or a carved animal figure close by, letting the colour of the beadwork echo through the rest of the vignette.
